Founder and President
Adam brings nearly a decade of experience in building broad-based coalitions to advance policy reforms at the federal level through legislative and regulatory policymaking, as well as the appropriations process. He has expertise in statistical, health, and civil rights policy.
Adam has worked with Congress, the administration, and advocacy coalitions to facilitate community inclusion in policymaking initiatives. He has worked with Members of Congress in the House and Senate to draft and introduce legislation, direct funding to community initiatives through the federal appropriations process, and guide congressional oversight. He has also worked with administrative officials to convene policy roundtables, facilitative community outreach and engagement, and draft policy documentation. In 2024, Adam attained an M.S. in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, through which he developed a proficiency in advanced data analytics and visualization.
From 2021 to 2024, Adam represented a coalition of Arab American community-based organizations in securing long-sought representation for Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) populations in federal data. He worked with Congress and the White House’s Office on Management and Budget (OMB) to revise Statistical Policy Directive No. 15 (SPD 15), which outlines the federal standards for data on race and ethnicity, to include a distinct “Middle Eastern or North African” reporting category. Through his work to secure MENA representation in SPD 15, Adam witnessed firsthand the importance of people-powered coalitional advocacy and the unique role he could play in facilitating more participatory policymaking processes.
